History of the Wagon Wheelers Building

The Wagon Wheelers Square Dance Hall, located in Jackson, Ohio, was a long-standing community staple for square dancing until its facility was donated to the Jackson County Board on Aging in September 2022. Club members  built the facility themselves in the 1970s.  The building featured a large floating wooden floor, perfect for dancing.​

The Wagon Wheelers club was a popular organization for many years, bringing together enthusiasts for square dancing and other community events.​ Over the decades the building served as a popular gathering spot for square and round dancing, attracting members from across southeastern Ohio.
