Transportation

Transportation is the foundation for living an independent life.  Jackson County's senior citizens can count on the Board on Aging to help them access crucial services.  Transportation is available for non-emergency medical, pharmacy, grocery, errands, etc.  Our fleet of vans and reliable drivers traveled over 145,000 miles in 2024, reaching persons in all 12 townships within the 420 square mile boundaries of the county.  Drivers offer more than a reliable ride, they provide much-needed social contact with care and concern for each passenger, who is treated like family. ​
